ELIGIBILITY
- You must be a current CBIA member
- Entrants must sign the 2023 Registration/Payment form by entry due dates.
- All projects (1-51) must be located within Collier County or South of Alico Road in Lee County (no exceptions).
- Eligibility dates: Projects must be completed between June 01, 2022 – April 30, 2023 (applies to all categories, except 50).
- Eligibility Exclusion: Previous year winning entries cannot be submitted in the same category, except in categories 19-Best Showroom, 46-50.
- Licensing: Company must hold required state or county license within the specific category(ies) for which they are applying.
- The maximum number of entries cannot exceed 35 from an individual member.
- All entry information is submitted electronically using a CBIA designated website.
DEADLINES & IMPORTANT DATES:
- Registration is open March 10 – May 01, 2023.
- Early registration deadline: Registration/Payment form including fees must be received on or before May 01, 2023. Completed entry(ies) information must be uploaded by June 02, 2023.
- Late registration deadline: Registration/Payment form including fees must be received on or before May 08, 2023. Completed entry(ies) information must be uploaded by June 02, 2023.
- Bulk entry price applies to early registration only. Registration/Payment form including fees must be received on or before May 01, 2023. Completed entry(ies) information must be uploaded by June 02, 2023.
- If entry information is NOT uploaded by midnight, Friday, June 02, 2023 it will be considered disqualified. No refunds provided.
- Sand Dollar Sponsorship Opportunities: Due by July 28, 2023.
- Virtual Workshop: March 23, 2023 9:00a.m.-11:00a.m. At CBIA office. Reservation required to: Awards@cbia.net.
- Route information: Off-site Judging to take place, no route information sent this year.
- Virtual Judging: July 10 -14, 2023.
- Sand Dollar Awards Gala: Saturday, September 23, 2023, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples (Beach Resort).
FEES STRUCTURE/REFUNDS
- Early registration fee – Categories 1-51: $250 per entry (due by May 01, 2023).
- Entry Bulk Price applies to the Early registration date ONLY – May 01, 2023:
(11-15 entries): $2,500
(16-20 entries): $3,500
(21-25 entries): $4,000
(26-35 maximum entries): $5,000 - Late registration fee – Categories 1-51: $350 per entry (due by May 08, 2023).
- Marketing Awards Categories 30-45, 50: Marketing Award entries require that the submitting company have a current CBIA Sales & Marketing Council membership.
- Sales Awards Categories 46-49, 51: Sales Award entries require the individual entering have a current CBIA Sales & Marketing Council membership.
- Sales & Marketing Council membership dues are $75 per individual/per year.
- No refunds or exchanges will be provided past June 02, 2023.
- No refund will be given for disqualified entries.

Product Design Awards: 1-15
Interior Design Awards: 16-21
Remodeling Awards: 22-24
Commercial Awards: 25-29
Marketing Awards: 30-45
Sales Awards: 46-51
- Once you receive your login information, you will be able to see all additional questions and requirements for each entry.
- You must review each individual category for specific or additional requirements.
- Review Judging criteria to see if you meet entry requirement.
- Review the style of home/project to see you meet entry requirement.
- Review the subcategory to see if you meet entry requirement.
- Review the pricing category, if applicable.
- You can only enter for categories for which you hold the required county or state license.
JUDGING INFORMATION
- Virtual judging will take place for all categories 1-51 from July 10 -14, 2023.
- Judging will be done paperless – all supporting entry information is shared with the Judges.
- If an entry is not completed, it will not be judged and no refunds will be provided.
- Each entry will be judged on its own merit by 3 highly qualified impartial judges from outside Collier County.
- A point method of scoring will be used and based upon a scale of 1-5 points.
- Entries must receive at least 75% of the total points possible to be eligible for an award and all scores are kept confidential.
- Judges do not have your contact information during judging.
- The Judge’s decisions are final, they have the discretion to disqualify an entry that does not supply required materials and/or does not meet specified judging criteria requested.
